Meranti Door Frame 900 × 2032mm – 44 × 70mm Section | Unassembled

Meranti Interior Door Frame for 900 × 2032mm Doors

This solid Meranti timber frame is supplied unassembled for on-site fitting. Its 44 × 70mm section is made for a 900 × 2032mm door opening, a wider option than an 813mm frame for interior projects where extra doorway space is wanted. The finished clear passage depends on the door leaf, hinges, stops and installation, so check the completed doorway dimensions before specifying it for accessibility requirements.

Key features

• Material: solid Meranti timber, ready to finish
• Frame section: 44 × 70mm
• Door size: 900mm wide × 2032mm high
• Supply: unassembled head and jambs for on-site fitting
• Application: interior doorways

Dimensions and installation

The listed external frame dimensions are 967mm wide × 2064mm high. Measure the actual frame and the wall opening before installation, allowing suitable room for positioning, packing and fixing rather than treating the external frame size as the required rough opening. Prime and seal the timber, including end grain and the bottoms of the jambs, to protect it from moisture.

For an accessible doorway, assess the finished clear opening and the complete door installation against the applicable project requirements; the nominal 900mm door size alone does not establish compliance.
