Important Installation and Intended Use
This product is an exterior building door. It is not designed for use as a freestanding garden gate, pedestrian gate, or boundary gate.
Install the door within a properly constructed building opening and door frame. The installation must protect the top edge from direct water entry and must not leave both faces and the top edge continuously exposed to rain, sunlight, and moisture.
Before or immediately after installation, seal all six sides of the door, including the top and bottom edges, with a suitable exterior-grade primer, paint, stain, or sealer. Follow the finish manufacturer’s application and maintenance instructions. Meranti is a natural timber and may absorb moisture, swell, move, or distort if moisture enters through inadequately sealed surfaces or if the door is used outside its intended application.
