Why choose a solid core interior door?
The solid chipcore gives this door a more substantial feel than a hollow-core alternative and can provide useful sound dampening and impact resistance in busy homes, offices, rental properties and developments. The internal pine framework also provides solid fixing points for compatible hinges and locks.
Plain MDF surface for painting
The plain MDF skins provide a smooth, consistent surface on both faces for a clean painted finish. Lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper, apply a suitable primer and then use a quality interior acrylic or enamel paint. Seal the top, bottom and side edges with a suitable MDF primer or edge sealer before applying the final coats.
Ideal applications

- High-traffic interior doorways in homes and offices
